I am a certified Green Badge City of London Tour Guide and a member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding. This means that my tours are professional and that I am continuously educating myself to ensure that you receive the safest, all-inclusive, and most informative tour possible from someone who has London in his very bones.

My name is David Alexander. I am a Londoner. I have travelled to places far and wide, and I still maintain this city to be the greatest. It has a heartbeat. And it is a survivor. Invasion. Plague, The Great Fire. Blitz. It has seen it all and stood stoic in the face of adversity. It has changed, evolved, yet its aesthetic and its personality have remained unfazed, fascinating, and glorious all at once.

I have an unyielding fascination with the city of London. It’s history, it’s architecture, and it’s people. Most of all, the stories: The good, the bad, and the downright ‘orrible! I love to tell stories. Coming from a family where all the men were London Black Taxi Drivers, there were plenty of tales told to me as a boy. Now I want to share them with you.

I have worked in theatre for many years, and all the city is a stage, we are merely players upon it. Apologies to honorary Londoner, Mr Shakespeare!
